Job Description

This person will be the top architect and lead for Western Digital's Oracle EPM Platform responsible for application & delivery management. Closely working with Business stakeholder & super users, they will strive for operational excellence and roadmap implementation as directed by the IT Enterprise Analytics group leaders.

Primary responsibilities include

- Accountable for the technology platform for Financial Planning, Consolidation, Master Data & Reporting Applications based on Oracle EPM Cloud & On-Premises Tools

- Contributing Functional/Technical expertise to the Requirements Gathering & Solution Design sessions for ongoing projects

- Coordinating with cross function teams to deliver projects & changes as needed

- Analyzing user queries regarding Smart View setup, system data, calculations & job status

- Creating functional specs for MR reports & build using EPM Reports / NRCS

- Aligning business needs with applications leveraging automation & architecture best practices

- Following established IT Change & documentation processes to release new code to Production

- Lead offshore/onsite EPM team to transition knowledge & hand-off work elements

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / related Engineering field along with 10+ years of relevant professional experience in following areas & technology:

Technical:

·       Oracle Cloud EPM Suite (EPBCS, FCCS, PCMCS, ARCS, NRCS, EDMCS & TRCS)

·       Oracle DRM & DRG

·       Oracle Hyperion Essbase & Planning (on-premises)

·       Oracle FDMEE & Cloud Data Management

·       Oracle FRS / Cloud Reports & Smart View

·       Oracle SQL, Groovy, Linux Shell, Windows Batch & Python Scripting

Functional:

·       Financial Planning, Accounting, Master Data & Reporting process

·       Strong oral & written business communication

·       IT SDLC & ITIL Change Management

·       Business Engagement & Project Management

  • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.
  • You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.  Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
