Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader for our People Operations team. As the Manager of People Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer experiences, and fostering cross-functional collaborations with our Centers of Excellence (COEs).

- Customer service focused. Understand customer’s needs, effectively manage expectations, use sound judgement with sensitive topics, and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to resolve complex problems and negotiate and align on critical business decisions. You believe that no jobs are too big; no problems are too complex.
- Passionate about identifying, leading & driving processes improvement, strategies, and innovation. Has led multiple continuous improvement initiatives by simplifying, standardizing, centralizing, and automating complex processes.
- Energized by problem solving, thinking critically and quickly identifying root cause and corrective action strategies.
- Lead and sponsor multiple complex projects and initiatives across operation functions, systems, and regions.
- Master at managing and adapting to rapid change. Proven ability to effectively communicate and motivate teams through transformation.
- Expert at managing capacity and knowing how to flex your team to meet the changing needs of the organization.
- Create strategy for HR knowledge base, identify HR knowledge gaps for top employee inquiries, Partner with COEs to update and maintain their existing content and curate all content into one unified platform laid out in a simple and consistent format that is searchable, interconnected.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - directly and succinctly - across cubicles, organizational boundaries and cultures. Comfortable creating and delivering presentations on a variety of topics. Excellent facilitator.
- Strong business acumen. You are an experienced professional with multiple areas of specialization.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high stakes and change-driven environment.
- High attention to detail. Examples such as reviewing work content and managing system testing and quality checks.
- Highly organized and able to efficiently manage multiple priorities. Meets deadlines.
- Fluent in industry best practices and know how to leverage these to achieve world-class results.
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed for global time zones.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with Human Resources emphasis (a plus)
- At least 8-10 years of HR Operations experience
- 3-5 years of People Leader experience with multi- tier oversight experience.
- HRIS system and Case Management System experience and knowledge required, (Workday and Service Now preferred).
- Customer service mindset to provide optimum support to employees in WDC
- Continuous improvement mindset in order to gather data, analyze and derive insights that drives action plans for the improvement of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, Visio, etc.
- Proven strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- This individual must be detail-oriented and have solid analytical skills and abilities.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
