JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for SDSM ESD S20.20 certification and coordinate ESD conformance & qualification activities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 General Roles & Responsibilities:

• Represent management as ESD Coordinator / Program management
• Coordinate Plant Certification Audit by Certification Body
• Conduct Internal Auditing to ensure compliances
• Support ESD related Customer Audit requirement
• Represent SDSM for Western Digital global ESD harmonization & standardization forum & activities
• Manage technician & operators for daily compliance verification activities

Specific Activities:

• Training - Provide ESD Training for IDL New Hires and DL Trainers
• Documentation - Responsible for ESD document consolidation & unified practice according to ANSI/ESD Standard
• Compliance:
  • Coordinate ESD Compliance measurement is done in timely manner and review root cause analysis for any ESD Control items failure
  • Conduct investigation to identified Root cause and Corrective action to ESD failure

• Qualification & Projects:
  • Perform and review ESD Material/Product Qualification & release and maintain the database
  • Perform and review Machine qualification & release  
  • Provide ESD Consultancy to Automation Design Team, Vendors & Supplier
  • ESD projects – examples: New building setup/ Establish EPA area, ESD Turnstile management, ESD Online database
  • Perform qualification on New Manufacturing Line setup/New Workstation setup

• Global Harmonization & Standardization:
  • Support ESD Corporate activities ( Core Document , Training , Auditing &  etc)
  • Alignment with other Western Digital sites on Standardization of ESD requirement & implementation

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Degree holder in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) with certified ANSI/ESD standard from ESDA or equivalent certification bodies.
• Added advantage for certified ESD program manager.  
• Having of minimum 7 years experience in ESD for storage/electronics or equivalent manufacturing industries.  

Preferred:

• Manufacturing Quality Assurance, Engineering or Consulting working experience for ESD.
• Experience working with product development characterization or machine Automation team is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Program/product management, problem solving & excellent communication skills both oral & written.
• Experience in ISO9001 or IATF16949 is an added advantage.
