Job Description

As a Chemist of Manufacturing Engineering you are expected to provide technical knowledge and support to the engineering specially pertaining to material and process chemistry.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Process Engineers to improving product quality and yield through material and process optimization.
  • Work with cross functional teams as well to provide any technical support related to chemistry.
  • Perform material qualifications and chemical studies and experiments.
  • Provide support to resolving product, material and process issues through 8D methodology.
  • Engagement and collaboration with various laboratories: Material Science Lab, Reliability Lab, Electrochemistry Lab, and Chemical Preparation Lab.
  • Perform activities associated with the compliance of our chemical laboratories to Philippine Chemistry Law.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives covering new or alternative material qualifications, consumption reduction and waste reduction.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
  • 1 - 2 years of work experience.
  • Substantial knowledge in qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses and instrumentation

PREFERENCE:

  • Hands on experience on chemical analyses and instrumentation
  • Experience on research and development
