It's a well-resourced, sophisticated company that's actively rethinking how it shows up and connects with consumers today.
Duration: 4 weeks

Commitment: 24 hours/week (may fluctuate between 20-30/week)
Start Date: August 3rd

Job Description
A major personal care brand is expanding beyond its core into new formats and categories, and they need a campaign idea that can hold it all together. Not a string of one-off social posts. They are looking for concepts that can flex from a scroll-stopping piece of social content to a 15 or 30-second spot without losing what makes it work.
This is where you come in. We're looking for a Copywriter operating at Associate Creative Director level who can run with a brief largely on your own, paired with an Art Director, to build that idea from scratch. You'll be working directly alongside the brand's internal creative team, who are stepping back from day-to-day execution to focus on other priorities, which means you'll have real room to shape the thinking, not just execute someone else's.
What You'll Do:
Partner with an Associate Creative Director, Art Director to concept a social-first campaign idea for a new product launch
Write and develop scripts, storyboards, and social concepts that connect a house of very different products under one clear idea
Build ideas that start social-first but are built to work as longer-form 15s and 30s too
Bring a point of view on what's happening in culture and on platform right now, and translate that into work that feels current, not clinical
Present and pressure-test concepts with the brand's internal creative leads, incorporating feedback quickly given the compressed timeline
Collaborate with a social strategy lens built into your own thinking
Qualifications
Experience operating at an Associate Creative Director or equivalent senior copywriting level, able to lead concepting with minimal oversight
A portfolio that shows social-first campaign thinking, not just standalone social executions
Personal care or beauty category experience required
Comfort writing across formats — social scripts, storyboards, and longer-form 15s/30s from the same core idea
A sharp, current read on culture and platform behavior — this brand wants work that sounds like a person
Availability to start quickly and work a fluctuating 20–30 hours a week
Nice to Have:
Experience developing campaign ideas across a portfolio of related but distinct products
Comfort working directly with brand-side creative leads in a fast-moving, still-finalizing-details environment
