We are seeking a new Class 4 driver to join our small and cohesive team in Oamaru. Operate multiple vehicles in and around Oamaru.

About the role

As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating multiple vehicles and computer equipment on board to ensure the safe and timely collection of service throughout Oamaru and surrounding Waitaki areas. You’ll also be required to keep accurate logbook records and digital daily vehicle safety checks.

Some operations include skip, rear-load and sideload truck operation, you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, together with us, you’ll champion our culture of teamwork and making sure everyone gets home safely.

About you

You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team to get the job done.

• A clean and up to date Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Relevant driving experience is a bonus.
• Adaptable to change other than driving tasks, no one day is the same.
• Open to learning new skills.
• Open to ongoing training and refresher training.
