We are hiring for Non-Retail Registered and Certified Pharmacy Technicians in Frederick, MD

Competitive Pay and Shift Differentials:
- Registered Pharmacy Technicians: Starts at $18.50/hr
- Certified Pharmacy Technicians: Starts at $21.00/hr
- Plus $2.00/Hr. differential for the 2nd shift and $3.00/Hr. differential for the 3rd shift.
We are hiring for the following shifts:
- 1st shift: candidates must be available to work between the hours of 6am to 6pm.
- 2nd shift: candidates must be available to work between the hours of 4pm to 4am
Full-Time: associates will work 4 days a week, it is a 10-hour shift, and it is a rotating schedule so candidates must be available all week except Saturdays when the facility will be closed.
Job Duties include:
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies as prescribed by physicians.
- Process prescriptions, including counting, bottling, packaging, labeling, and recording medication dosages.
- Receive and process prescriptions, including entering prescription information into computer system and verifying accuracy.
- Perform inventory control, including stocking and re-stocking medications and supplies, removing expired items, and reporting on inventory levels.
- Answer phone calls, manage customer queries and forward complex queries to the pharmacist.
- Process insurance claims and manage payments.
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards of pharmaceutical care.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including storing and disposing of medications and supplies properly.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and pharmacy operations.

Physical Requirements

- Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
