We are seeking a dedicated Exterior Services Technician, DOT Operator - DS to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining attractive and well-kept landscapes while ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As an integral part of our exterior services team, you will contribute to creating a clean and appealing environment for our customers.

• Perform landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and DOT-regulated vehicles safely and efficiently
• Conduct grounds maintenance on parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas
• Adhere to the highest standards of safety, security, and integrity
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local, federal, and state requirements, including DOT regulations
• Perform visual inspections of equipment and vehicles before operation
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by DOT standards
• Collaborate with team members to achieve landscaping and maintenance goals
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and seasonal landscaping needs
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Travel to different locations as necessary to perform essential job functions

• Valid state-issued driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Successful completion of a driver's road test for combination truck and trailer operation
• Must be at least {AGE} of age
• Ability to obtain appropriate licensing and/or endorsements for operating in the State of New Mexico, if required
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Physical ability to perform landscaping and maintenance tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Experience in landscaping, agriculture, general maintenance, or retail (preferred)
• Strong understanding of customer service principles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Demonstrated personal accountability and effective time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative attitude
• Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on safety and quality
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes

The hourly wage range for this position is $21*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
