Primary Purpose
To provide solutions to our industrial test and measurement customers. You will spend time creating a complete solution for customers across a wide variety of industries and applications.
You will work closely with the Field sales team and key account managers to ensure customers receive a high level of support. You will have a sales quota for assigned accounts and support the field sales territories for common customers. You will be responsible for achieving new opportunity creation, funnel management, and sales targets. There will be a fast pace of launching new sales campaigns, lead generation, and opportunity follow-up. You will know when and how to introduce other Evident technical experts and industry specialists to our customers as part of your winning strategy.
While primarily an inside sales role, this position requires Technical and Management support for our extensive range of Video Scopes to the Australian market and the EAS Team.
Where is the position located?
Macquarie Park Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time, permanent position with flexible working arrangements.
What will your typical day look like?
- Proactively manage our Video Scope portfolio, ie price lists, stock levels, Service and spare part overview.
- Complete Technical support to the Australian Sales Team, Key Account RVI travel will be mandatory.
- Support the outside sales team and key account managers by providing quotation and sales support to a defined customer base.
- Contact and qualify customers requesting information via phone, internet, and other sources.
- Perform virtual product demonstrations.
- Closing sales to achieve an annual sales target defined for the inside sales channel.
- Train and maintain a high level of internal and external training for RVI.
- Manage customer relationships to assigned accounts and territories.
- Maintain a high level of customer activity to maximize the sales pipeline and increase closing percentages.
- Create and execute focused industry and account specific sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with the national technical specialists and market specialists in a creative way to close sales.
Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to the Quality Assurance System, reporting any internal and external customer complaints. Report any conditions that are adverse to the operational efficiency, safety & quality of TNM products, making suggestions for improvement as appropriate.
What do we want to know about you?
- Experience with sales of technical instruments and application software preferred
- At least three years’ experience in a field sales role, with strong technical skills
- (Advantageous, however not essential) Bachelors degree preferably in a science, engineering, or equivalent knowledge is required
- Knowledge of NDT/RVI/ANI or the industries is a plus
- Proven history of success in a business-to-business environment.
- Ability to create and deliver persuasive, clear, and concise presentations, product demonstrations, and emails to various audiences
- Using digital means to reach customers using virtual meetings and demonstrations
- Experience using CRM, sales automation, and sales enablement tools
