How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Turbo division, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparation of warranty and customer returned products.
What do we want to know about you?
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent. Automotive technical training is preferred. Experience in automotive performance preferred.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills - Ability to track repair orders, quality control statistics, and inventory usage through database management systems.
What will your typical day look like?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work at the direction of the Repair Department technicians to prioritize repair orders and remanufactured turbos.
- Cleaning and reconditioning all turbocharger components.
- Properly track repairs through SAP inventory control and invoicing, this includes accurately logging in and out of production orders to capture time spent on jobs.
- Maintain records of repair and product applications for future reference.
- Follow all Company personnel policies and process procedures.
- Maintain friendly, cooperative relations with customers, company personnel and management.
- Ensure that all internal company communications, financial information, pricing information, plans and strategies are kept confidential.
- Organize personal schedule to maximize productivity and time management.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Work Environment - The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee will be required to use tools and equipment which will regularly expose them to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
The starting hourly rate of this position is $18.00.
