Who will you be working with?
In this role, you will work with a global team.
How will you make a difference?
You will play a key part in the DevOps workflow for the Oasis product team, which is transitioning from legacy technology stacks to a modern, universal approach across the Network Optimization portfolio. You will help adapt new pipeline components and ensure continued build and release support for the legacy Oasis product. As the product evolves, you will ensure compatibility of pipeline libraries for various product teams and provide release engineering support for Oasis.
What do we want to know about you?
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with product pipeline migrations.
- Understanding of DevOps best practices.
- Cloud infrastructure knowledge as a DevOps (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Linux Experience, managing and supporting virtual machines.
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab, or GitHub Actions) and Version Management (Github or Bit Bucket).
- Knowledge of Python and Shell, as well as Bash Scripting.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated build and configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform, or Gitlab preferred).
- Able to balance value propositions of modern tools and integration in product teams for attributable business value.
- Influences through others and can create a coalition of support for new and modifications to current processes.
- Demonstrates a passion and drive for self-improvement of technical skill sets.
- Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking, analysis skills, and best practices.
- Proactively learns new solutions and processes to address possible blockers or problems in product teams.
What will your typical day look like?
- Support and improve tooling for continuous build, automated testing, and release management.
- Make technology choices at an individual product level and analyze and measure the impact.
- Profile build processes and identify bottlenecks.
- Demonstrate expertise in writing scripts to automate tasks.
- Implements Continuous Integration/Deployment build principles.
- Help businesses develop an overall strategy for deploying code.
- Be an expert at applying principles of SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Build and maintain documentation related to build processes and product environmental configurations.
