In addition to manufacturing, Wabtec delivers engineering, maintenance, and long-term service solutions, supporting reliable rail operations and contributing to Kazakhstan’s role as a key hub on the Trans‑Caspian (Middle) Corridor.

Job Description

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of the Supply Chain Operations team, collaborating closely with buyers, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across regions and sites. The team ensures material availability, supports project timelines, and drives efficient supply chain processes across the organization.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Supply Chain Operations team, you will be responsible for managing material planning and supporting procurement processes to ensure on-time delivery aligned with project requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining ERP data accuracy, calculating material demand, and coordinating closely with buyers and project stakeholders. Your contribution will help optimize inventory levels, improve operational efficiency, and ensure seamless supply chain execution across multiple locations.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Create and activate parts in internal ERP systems and place orders
  • Support and enable cross-functional teams
  • Calculate demand for materials
  • Work with buyers on DSD date adjustments in line with project timelines
  • Perform consumption analysis and adjust orders accordingly

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations and/or Logistics
  • Fluent in English and Russian
  • Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan
