Who will you be working with?

 

Our best-in-class Finance team combines in-depth expertise in project cost structures, budget governance, and financial compliance frameworks with specialized financial analytics, audit, and risk management skills. Here you’ll act as a strategic business partner to the organization, engaging daily in tracking, analyzing, and optimizing project costs while ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate financial risks, maintain budget adherence, and drive tangible financial returns and enhanced profitability for the company.

As a member of the finance  group/division, you will be responsible for managing financial activities and driving financial results for a project based operating unit

 

What do we want to know about you?

A minimum 5 years professional experience with a multi-national corporation in a managerial capacity

Understanding of financial and accounting principles, local taxation rules as well as auditing and internal controls

Good interpersonal skills & an ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management

Strong analytical skills

Good command of English both oral and written

 

What will your typical day look like?

Responsible for managing financial activities and driving financial results for FT Beijing, a partially project-based operating unit. Heading the accounting and planning for other Wabtec China and Hong Kong holding companies.

 

Responsible for operating unit’s monthly financial closing, including costing and revenue recognition under POC, review accruals, ensure accuracy of local ERP to OneStream reporting system mapping.

 

Prepare financial forecasts, assess progress towards achieving annual plan. Participate with senior management in developing alternative courses of action where required

 

Oversee the financial systems and controls and ensure the financial management practices conform with corporate/regional policies and local statutory regulations.

 

Support the preparation of tax returns in PRC.

 

Promote and maintain an effective system of internal controls by developing and implementing appropriate financial policies and procedures.

 

Position has a direct reporting line to China Regional CFO and engages with Wabtec China and Beijing business leaders to provide financial support. Position also collaborates with other finance teams or other functions in Wabtec China on other priorities and initiatives.

 

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
