Job Description
SUMMARY
Provides service and support to Touchstone internal and external customers and suppliers to insure materials, process, and products meet and/or exceed specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide MES support through the resolution of Quality 'Escalates' and operator
assistance/instruction.
- Interprets engineering drawings.
- Records test/inspection data and audit results using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Review inspection documents for accuracy and maintain organized files.
- Apply statistical process control techniques.
- Evaluates data and create reports as required to be distributed to interested parties.
- Checks incoming material as required.
- Reviews and maintains material test reports on incoming material for Material Traceability as required.
- Perform routine inspections for print dimensions (including CTQ) as required.
- Perform cleanliness testing (Millipore) per Customer requirements and analyze results using RAM Optical.
- Evaluation of key process indicators - Plate Fin/CuproBraze Fin Bond.
- Perform scheduled process audits and random product audits.
- Perform gage calibration and Gage R&R studies as required.
- Perform Return Unit Assessments when defective product is returned from the Customer.
- Perform paint inspections- visual, cross hatch testing, gloss readings, dry film thickness and pencil hardness as required.
- Measure and send samples to Laboratories for evaluation as needed.
- Submit Document Control Request and revise documents as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The pay range for this role is $23.00 -$25.00 per hour.
