Job Description

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the cooperative’s core IT systems, including servers, networking equipment, and security tools. This role ensures system stability, security, and availability by managing infrastructure within defined responsibilities and partnering with internal departments and approved vendors when specialized expertise or additional support is required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in information technology or related field is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years information technology experience is required.

Technical/ Computer/ Office Equipment

  • Proficient with the administration of management of system networks including virtual servers.
  • Proficient with the administration of VMware, Veeam, Microsoft management tools including Azure Active Directory, OneDrive, Office 365, Teams, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Proficient with the administration of workstation and mobile device hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to operate and manage office equipment, including workstations, mobile devices, phone systems, printers and copiers.
  • Strong project management and planning skills, including the ability to coordinate work with other departments or organizations and to make meeting/conference arrangements.
  • Ability to present information to groups.
  • Ability to adhere to cyber-security protocols established by the cooperative.
