Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Front of House team member to join our organisation in No. Ardersier, United Kingdom. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, attentive and professional manner, ensuring all requests are addressed efficiently and effectively
- Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating guests' needs at every stage of their visit and addressing any concerns or queries with empathy and positivity
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout dining and service areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and back-of-house teams to support smooth operations and contribute to an inclusive and safe working environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience when managing multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting to challenges with a solution-oriented approach
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation and catering guidelines established within the organisation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, ensuring transparency and understanding at all times
- Support the team in achieving operational goals whilst maintaining organised and efficient service standards
Qualifications
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive guest experiences
- Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse guests and colleagues
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to an inclusive workplace culture
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Flexibility and resilience, with a solution-oriented mindset when facing challenges or unexpected situations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to undertake induction training
- Previous experience in a hospitality, food service or customer-facing role is desirable
- Professional presentation and demeanour with strong interpersonal abilities
- Physical stamina to work standing and moving throughout shifts
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required
