BaxterStorey Netherlands is looking for an enthusiastic Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and promptly delivering food and equipment to our events, but you will also be an essential part of the on-site team. You will assist with setup and breakdown and support both the kitchen and Front of House teams, contributing to the smooth running of all our Back of House operations.

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het veilig en tijdig bezorgen van eten en apparatuur naar onze evenementen, maar je bent ook een essentieel onderdeel van het team op locatie. Je helpt mee met op- en afbouwen en ondersteunt zowel de keuken als het Front of House-team, waardoor je bijdraagt aan het soepele verloop van al onze Back of House-activiteiten.

• Safely deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Bezorg voedselbestellingen veilig en op tijd bij klanten, met zorg voor de klant.
• Assist in basic food preparation and cleaning tasks under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Assisteer bij de voorbereidingen en schoonmaaktaken onder begeleiding van senior keukenpersoneel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and delivery vehicle. Zorgt dat zowel de keuken als de bus netjes en opgeruimd is.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols in all aspects of work. Volgt voedselveiligheids- en hygiëneprotocollen in alle werkaspecten.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as directed. Onderhoudt keukenapparatuur zoals aangegeven.
• Manage time effectively to balance delivery and kitchen responsibilities. Beheert de tijd effectief om een goede balans te houden tussen bezorging en keukenverantwoordelijkheden.
• Provide excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone. Biedt uitstekende klantenservice, zowel persoonlijk als telefonisch.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory management. Assisteert bij voorraadrotatie en inventarisbeheer.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Werkt samen met het keukenteam om ervoor te zorgen dat alles soepel verloopt tijdens drukke periodes.
• Accurately process payments and handle cash transactions when required. Verwerkt betalingen zorgvuldig.

• Valid driver's licence. Geldig rijbewijs.
• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Basis kookvaardigheden en kennis van voedselvoorbereidingstechnieken.
• Food safety certification (e.g., HACCP) or willingness to obtain. Een certificaat voedselveiligheid (bijv. HACCP) of bereidheid dit te behalen.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills. Uitstekende tijdsmanagement- en organisatorische vaardigheden.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanour. Een klantgerichte houding en een vriendelijke en professionele uitstraling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Het vermogen om efficiënt te werken in een snel veranderende werkomgeving.
• Basic mathematics skills for handling transactions and measurements. Basis rekenvaardigheden voor het afhandelen van betalingen.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg. Fysieke uithoudingsvermogen om langere tijd te staan en kan tot 25 kg te tillen.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Flexibiliteit om ’s avonds, in het weekend en op feestdagen te werken indien nodig.
• Previous experience in food delivery or kitchen work is preferred. Ervaring in voedselbezorging of keukenwerk is een pre.
• Basic culinary training or education is desirable but not required. Basis kookopleiding of -kennis is wenselijk, maar niet verplicht.
• Familiarity with the local area and strong navigational skills. Kennis van de lokale omgeving en goede navigatievaardigheden.
