Gross salary: EUR 2800-3200 gross per month, based on 38 hours. Salary calculated pro rata

Job Description

  • Food Preparation – Independently plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of the changing daily menus ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Kitchen Management – oversee the production of all food items assigned to your station and upkeep the kitchen with supplies and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and procedures, taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
  • Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all food handled, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times
  • Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary
  • Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order, ensure compliance with all aspects of food safety and health and safety
  • Managing Budget - Implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and to monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Chef or display a real passion for food
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Great understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Works according to the BaxterStorey core values
  • Available parttime (25 hours per week, Monday to Thursday)
