Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Risk Data Analyst / Data Operations Analyst to support reporting, data analysis, and data management activities within a Risk-focused business function. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Advanced Excel, working knowledge of SQL, and hands-on experience handling large datasets. Experience with Tableau will be an added advantage.
This role requires a high degree of accuracy, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to convert complex data into meaningful business insights. The individual will play a critical role in supporting reporting, data reconciliation, data quality management, and business decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, validate, transform, and analyze data from multiple internal and external data sources.
- Prepare, maintain, and enhance regular MIS reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analytical reports.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and business insights.
- Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reporting outputs.
- Conduct data reconciliation activities and investigate data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and provide analytical support.
- Support Risk and business teams with data-driven insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
- Maintain reporting documentation, process notes, standard operating procedures, and data dictionaries.
- Ensure timely delivery of reports while adhering to data governance and quality standards.
- Participate in process improvement and reporting automation initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to business stakeholders and clients.
