Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead day to day client communication related to project status updates, milestones, bottlenecks or challenges, etc.
- Partner with client stakeholders, across segments and countries, to translate business questions into survey / interview questions to help understand customer opinions and perspectives.
- Design survey questionnaires and interview discussion guides to capture quantitative and qualitative feedback from customers.
- Design market research studies for representation of different customer segments, sample size, etc. to ensure adequate universe coverage.
- Coordinate with market research vendors to ensure data is being captured accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Design analysis plan of survey and interview data, to ensure the insights are in line with client’s business objectives and lead to actionable insights from a marketing RoI standpoint.
- Undertake competitor analysis, wherever possible, to provide competitive advantage to client team and help identify areas of improvement.
- Execute wave of wave analysis comparison across customer surveys and in-depth interviews, and provide insights on how perception and performance of client and competitors are changing over-time.
- Work with in-house advanced analysis team to identify ways of leveraging AI/ML to help optimize the client’s PMR process.
- Support proposal writing, RFP response, RFQ collation, etc. for business development initiatives for multiple clients.
- Lead multiple PMR projects independently while managing small teams of Analysts/Senior Analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide input for development of analytical and AI solutions supporting pharmaceutical sales, marketing and commercial operations.
- Ensure timely delivery with strong focus on quality, client satisfaction and agreed SLAs.
- Drive structured project execution through effective planning, documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Drive automation using reusable code, AI-assisted workflows and scalable analytics solutions.
- Maintain knowledge repositories, reusable assets, SOPs and quality frameworks to improve delivery efficiency.
- Build new analytical capabilities, identify business opportunities and support organizational growth.
- Contribute to whitepapers, capability building, internal assets and thought leadership initiatives.
- Develop and deliver presentations and recommendations to senior client stakeholders during delivery and business development.
- Support mentoring, grooming and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the team, especially for newer team members not familiar with PMR.
- Ensure compliance with organizational processes, governance and quality standards.

Eligibility Criteria
Required Experience
- 5–9 years of experience in Primary Market Research, qualitative as well as quantitative
- 2–4 years of experience in Healthcare, Lifesciences or Pharmaceutical Analytics is preferred.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly understand new survey / interview results and translate them into business insights.
- Experience working with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQL, SPSS or R, Power BI or Tableau is must
- Hands-on experience in survey design, interview / discussion guide design, survey analysis plan design, report structuring, survey insight generation, etc. is a must
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP is good to have
- Pharmaceutical commercial analytics knowledge is highly desirable.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors / Masters (or equivalent) in Operational Research, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
