Key Responsibilities: 

• Alignment with Product Management on product requirements
• Design of electronic devices (Schematics design and PCB Layout) according to product requirements
• Component specification and selection
• Close cooperation with Firmware department during Schematics design phase
• 3D visualization of PCB, close cooperation with Mechanical Engineering department for enclosure design
• Conduct run up tests on prototypes
• Transfer of production data to production and supply chain department
• Product maintenance and change management
• Close cooperation with Testing department for finished product qualification

Qualifications:

Education: 

• Completed training in the field of electrical engineering (HTL/FH/TU or comparable qualification) and professional experience (3-5 years working experience)

Experience: 

• Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices in special IoT use cases
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware development
• Very good understanding of electronics and electrical engineering
• Experience in circuit design and EMC-compliant PCB layout (knowledge of Altium a requirement and EAGLE is an advantage)

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
• High degree of independence and personal responsibility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Precise working methods and high quality awareness
• Ability to communicate and work in a team
• very good skills in written and spoken German and English

A minimum basic salary of EUR 3.843 gross per month for full-time employment applies to the advertised position with a willingness to pay depending on the actual qualifications.
