Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 engineer who is excited to help scale and mature the collaboration, identity, productivity, and governance platforms that support Vuori's global workforce. As Senior Engineer, Systems - Microsoft 365, you will own the engineering and operational health of Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Copilot. You will partner closely with Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk, HRIS, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and intuitive workplace technology that scales with Vuori's growth.
What you'll get to do:
- Own and continuously improve Vuori's Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Copilot.
- Define and maintain platform architecture, governance, security standards, lifecycle controls, and operational practices across Microsoft 365 workloads.
- Administer identity and access capabilities including Conditional Access, authentication, authorization, group management, user lifecycle processes, SSO, and SCIM integrations.
- Design and implement collaboration governance for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Groups, external sharing, retention, and information protection.
- Build automation and integrations using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, APIs, and related technologies to reduce manual work and improve service reliability.
- Partner with Security to implement Microsoft 365 security and compliance controls, support audit evidence, and participate in incident response and remediation activities.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 issues, lead root cause analysis, and maintain clear standards, runbooks, architecture documentation, and support guidance.
- Evaluate emerging Microsoft capabilities, including Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools, and guide responsible adoption that improves employee experience and business outcomes.
- Microsoft 365 resiliency, backup, recovery, and business continuity initiatives, including recovery testing, restoration procedures, and operational readiness for service disruption and data-loss scenarios
Qualifications
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Entra ID, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
- Experience implementing Conditional Access, MFA, identity governance, data protection, retention, and collaboration governance controls.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and automation or integration tooling.
- Strong understanding of modern identity, cloud security, collaboration platforms, and enterprise service management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and translate findings into durable improvements.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder partnership skills, with the ability to balance security, usability, operational scale, and business needs.

The salary range for this role is $137,000 per year - $176,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
