Sales Representative – DACH Region (Outdoor, Hunting Industry)

Company Description
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Representative to develop our business in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) within the outdoor and hunting industry.
This role focuses on building and managing relationships with dealers, distributors, and specialty retailers who carry multiple brands. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the hunting/outdoor market, understands the dynamics of multi-brand retail, and is comfortable working independently in a territory-based role.
Location: Preferably Southern Germany / close to the French border
Language Requirement: Fluent German and English; French is a strong asset
Job Description
Sales & Territory Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies across Germany, Austria, and surrounding regions
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new retailers, buying groups, and
- distributors
- Expand product penetration within existing accounts
- Conduct regular field visits to hunting shops, outdoor retailers, and distributors
Account Management
- Build long-term relationships with store owners, buyers, and category
- managers
- Support dealers with product knowledge, training, and merchandising strategies
- Ensure strong in-store presence and optimal product positioning
- Collaborate with distributors to improve availability and logistics performance
Market Expertise & Intelligence
- Monitor trends, competitor activity, and pricing within the DACH hunting/outdoor market
- Provide insights on customer preferences and regional differences
- Act as the “voice of the market” internally
Trade Shows & Industry Presence
- Represent the company at major events such as IWA OutdoorClassic (Germany) and regional trade fairs
- Support dealer events, demo days, and in-store promotions
- Strengthen brand visibility across the region
Forecasting & Reporting
- Develop and manage territory sales forecasts
- Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in CRM
- Provide regular updates on performance, opportunities, and risks
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in hunting, outdoor, sporting goods, or related industries
- Strong network of dealers, distributors, or retailers in the DACH region is highly preferred
- Deep understanding of multi-brand retail environments
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- High level of autonomy, organization, and accountability
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the territory
Language Requirements
- Fluent German (mandatory)
- Professional English (mandatory)
- French (strong asset), especially for cross-border collaboration (France / Benelux)
