Job Description
Job Description Summary
- Installs new HVAC units in new construction for modular multi-family homes.
- Able to install sheet metal ductwork and equipment with minimal supervision.
- Maintains clean workspace.
- Follows all safety rules and ensures the work performed meets the building code requirements.
- Must complete work within set time limits.
- Reads and interprets plans
- Installs various types of HVAC systems such as PTAC, heat pumps, ERV
- Quality checks completed work
- Documents completions and/or shortages.
- Must wear tool bags when working.
- Must be willing to work outside of HVAC trade when needed
- 3 positions open- Some experience, to highly experienced candidates all welcome to apply.
Pay Range: $25 - 36 per hour DOE
Qualifications
About you
- Mechanically inclined.
- Dependable, punctual, and work at a quick pace.
- Minimum 1 year working in HVAC "Rough" installations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must maintain positive attitude and take direction well.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints desired.
- Ability to use power and hand tools.
- Ability to learn, retain knowledge and follow instructions.
- Adaptable to any task assigned and must be flexible and willing to work both in HVAC and other trades.
- Must communicate well and prioritize time sensitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and with a work crew
- Be physically able to perform various job site tasks as well as lifting equipment, walking, climbing, kneeling, working at heights with harness.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold conditions.
- Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
