We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Your Responsibilities

• Planning and coordination of simulation tasks and requirements in the aircraft development process
• Creation and maintenance of simulation models of the entire aircraft
• Intensive coordination with the technical departments (aerodynamics, structural dynamics, flight mechanics, electrical propulsion, flight control)
• Preparation, execution and evaluation of simulations
• Validation of the simulation models on the basis of flight test data, as well as feedback of the knowledge gained into the modelling
• Documentation and presentation of the work progress

• Successfully completed studies in engineering, specializing in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable course of study
• Experience in multiphysics simulation with focus on aerospace
• Relevant experience in the flight physics analysis of rotorcraft, or equivalent experience
• Confident knowledge of Matlab and Python
• Experience in aircraft certification is desirable
• Reliable, structured and independent working method
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good written and verbal expression in English
