Job Description

The Strategic Clients Delivery organization drives the holistic product strategy for Visa and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products and services into markets around the world. This is a client-facing, individual contributor role focused on leading successful commercial launches in close collaboration with Product, Business Development, Technology teams, and major ecosystem partners.  The role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments, enjoys leading cross-functional initiatives, and can serve as the connective tissue that keeps stakeholders aligned across the entire program lifecycle.

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in delivering outcomes that shape the future growth of Visa. Success in this role requires a strong combination of professionalism, technical aptitude, leadership, and relationship management skills, along with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. The position is based in North America and reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Clients Delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of Visa’s most strategic product-led initiatives for assigned clients, ensuring disciplined delivery through completion.
  • Establish structure, governance, and execution rigor across the full program lifecycle.
  • Orchestrate complex, cross-functional workstreams spanning multiple teams and parallel efforts.
  • Work across a diverse stakeholder set to define scope, secure alignment and resources, and improve operating processes that enable execution excellence.
  • Balance competing priorities while identifying synergies, aligning adjacent initiatives, and driving cohesion across cross-functional partners.
  • Identify and address delivery risks by resolving bottlenecks, managing dependencies, and unblocking teams to maintain momentum.
  • Provide transparent stakeholder communications on progress, milestones, deliverables, outcomes, and key learnings.
  • Bring a strong understanding of industry and technology trends, including payments, AI, crypto, digital assets, and emerging ecosystems, to strengthen client engagement and uncover opportunities.
  • Contribute to account planning and client reviews by synthesizing product adoption, performance, and progress against success metrics into clear, business-oriented insights.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,  JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 5–7 years of experience in product, product development, or complex cross-functional delivery in fast-paced, matrixed environments
  • Highly driven self-starter with a strong execution focus, comfort operating in ambiguity, and a get-things-done DNA.
  • Agile and adaptable, with experience driving new ways of working in evolving organizations
  • Entrepreneurial problem solver who identifies needs, removes barriers, and drives outcomes
  • Strong program management discipline, with attention to detail and experience managing overlapping initiatives and deadlines
  • Excellent communicator and influencer, able to simplify complex concepts for clients and executive audiences
  • Collaborative and diplomatic, with sound judgment and poise under pressure
  • Able to operate globally, working effectively across teams, regions, and time zones
  • Strong payments industry knowledge, including regulatory considerations and emerging trends such as crypto and Agentic Commerce.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 129,200.00 to 206,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
