Essential Functions Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features under minimal guidance Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages HTML C Java to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user website experience across ecommerce products Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions As a Software Engineer you will be part of our Enterprise Risk Solutions team to help design enhance and build our transactional Fraud detection engine in an agile development environment You will work with colleagues who will support and challenge you daily You will be part of teams tasked with multiple projects building full stack development of realtime transactional services REST services API and Container based services that are highly functional distributed secure scalable and resilient We believe in self managing Agile teams who build products end to end focusing on unit testing code reviews and continuous integration for excellent code quality You will see the code written and moved to production within just a few days to then be used by a huge customer base including Facebook Nike FedEx Apple to name a few
Some of Your Key Responsibilities
Our engineers do more than just write code You will analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution You will leverage on new technologies to build the next generation of Risk Services You will develop and deliver new features every few days and be responsible for them endend You have the work and academic experience that will demonstrate proficiency and ease with programming languages code quality initiatives scripting languages and operating systems Your DNA would include following and creating software best practices and processes You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and above all you are a team player

Basic Qualification Bachelors degree and above 4 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualification More than 4 years of experience in software development application implementation and support Required skills React 18 functional components hooks context API Typescript interfaces generics typed props REST API integration fetch asynchronous await error handling CSS flexbox grid responsive design BEM or scoped styles State management React context local state patterns Unit test Vitest Jest React testing library GIT branching PRs commit conventions Good to have Experience in enterprise libraries Familiarity with Vite as build tool Knowledge of RBAC permission based UI rendering Experience in Docker Ngnix for frontend deployment Understanding of Siteminder of SSO authentication flows
