Job Description

Our Summer Internship is an 11-week programme providing you the opportunity to experience all that Visa has to offer alongside completing challenging work, building your skillset, and networking with fellow interns and Visa employees. Throughout the internship you will support professionals on core activities within your team, be given an end-to-end project to complete and take part in a variety of trainings to increase your learning. You will also get the opportunity to take part in a global social impact case challenge as well as hearing from senior leaders through our Visa Executive Speaker Series.

The internship is just the beginning to what we hope will be a lasting career at Visa! If you are successful throughout your internship you could even secure a graduate role with us when you finish university.

As we scale our cross-functional, agile product teams, we are seeking a UX Intern to learn the product discovery and prototyping efforts, functioning in combined design and development sprint cycles of Benefit Platform business domain.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science / Neuroscience, Computer Science, or a related field and graduating December 2025 or later.
  • Familiarity with creating modern web and mobile interfaces with responsive design.
  • Familiarity with web or mobile based technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Familiarity with contributing to product ideation and design, and designing digital products.
  • Familiarity with industry standard design tools (e.g. Figma, Mural, etc.).
  • Interest in learning and practicing design principles and methodologies like Design Thinking and Data-Informed Design.
  • Interest in learning conducting qualitative and quantitative user research, creating user journeys, high-fidelity designs, story maps, data value chain, etc.
  • Passion for problem-solving, with a strong focus on delivering user-centric value with measurable product metrics.
  • Fluent communication and collaboration skills in English.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A design portfolio (e.g. personal, academic or volunteer projects, etc.) showcasing design principles for web or mobile products.
