Job Description
The Visa+ Growth team drives strategic initiatives, optimizes business and sales operations, and manages alias based ecosystems performance. They formulate strategies, improve processes, analyze data for insights, and spearhead initiatives to align the company's objectives with execution. The team serves as a vital link between product, client success, and commercial teams, playing a significant role in the company's growth and success.
The Director of Market Expansion will lead and execute global strategic initiatives, develop global product commercialization artifacts, establish a center of excellence for regional support, and manage cross-functional projects. This role requires strong experience in the P2P payment ecosystem, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies and plans that align with the company's vision and mission.
- Create a multi-year strategic roadmap outlining key growth areas.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and build commercialization artifacts.
- Establish pricing structures and monetization models
- Building product-centric sales enablement material
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Monitor and report on the performance and progress of strategic initiatives and projects using relevant metrics and KPIs.
- Spearhead product enhancements based on market needs
- Develop a dashboard to track the progress of key initiatives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders based on data-driven analysis and best practices.
- Present quarterly business reviews to the executive team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future actions.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in business strategy, operations, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management and stakeholders across different functions and levels.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines and changing conditions.
• Highly collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships across the organization.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI is a plus.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 137,300.00 to 199,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
