Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst A2A Payment Products you will partner closely with the senior leaders across product, risk, business development, and delivery to derive deep insights form our business data to inform the strategic direction and product roadmap of Visa’s A2A payments and open banking products in North America. You will build a world-class business analytics function for A2A payments to help the A2A team execute on Visa’s 2030 strategy and bring it to life. The right candidate will have an equally strong background in data analytics, data processing, and business analytics. This role will implement standardized product and business reporting, support building client-facing material, and analyze product performance, commercial terms and ROI.

A successful candidate is an analytical leader with the ability to engage in high bandwidth conversations with business and technology partners and be able to think broadly about Visa’s business and drive solutions that will deliver deep business insights for Visa’s A2A payments leadership team. This role represents an exciting opportunity to make key contributions to a strategic offering for Visa. The candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, own, and manage the business analytics function of Visa’s North America A2A payments and open banking team
  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to summarize findings with recommendations to management
  • Develop and manage reporting and data visualization tools to assist leadership with managing KPIs and KRs for informed decision-making across all business domains (product, tech, risk, user, sales, finance)
  • Understand the full spectrum of Visa’s and Tink’s business analytics tools and capabilities and build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track business performance
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies by providing detailed analyses on market trends, user and customer behavior, and financial performance
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and various other teams
  • Identify blockers and paths to remove them
  • Ensure that all teams have the required business insights to stay on track to deliver on key results
  • Identify areas for improvement in current processes and systems and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and lead initiatives to automate and streamline
  • Work closely with your client-side stakeholders as with product and technology team members
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technology and innovation.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience as a business analyst
• 5 or more years’ experience in eCommerce, SaaS or payments with 3 or more
years’ experience
• Hands-on experience building, launching, and owning the BI function for a
product or business unit with a track record of business impact at scale
• Knowledge of payment products, rails, and functionality in North America
(ACH, RTP, FedNow, EFT, etc.) as well as open banking is a plus
• Strong passion for digging deep into data and deriving business critical
insights
• Working well within a heavily matrixed organizations, multi-national experience
is a plus
• Extreme attention to detail
• Proficiency in commonly used BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or
QuickSight and ability writing SQL queries is a must
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand, design, and define requirements to improve the whole
ETL pipeline
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate
complex information effectively
• Expertise in consumer data architecture, including data modeling, integration,
and identity resolution for personalization and segmentation
• Strong understanding of consumer retail processes, including customer
journeys, loyalty programs, and omni-channel strategies
• Ability to use data to prove or disprove hypotheses using deep data insights
and support product leaders shaping the product roadmap
• Understand and able to research market trends, competition, and user
experiences
• Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills to confidently
interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures that continue to
improve the current workflow and maximize group efficiency
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple
priorities

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 120,900.00 to 175,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
