Team Summary
Cybersource is part of VAS (Value Added Services) in Visa Korea and Mongolia. Cybersource global payment solutions provide the integrated tools, which the clients need to accept payments across channels and geographies using a digital-first approach. Combining innovation and security, our solutions enable fast and reliable payment acceptance with an emphasis on keeping sensitive payment data safe and minimizing fraudulent transactions.
What a Cybersource Senior Business Development Manager does at Visa:
Cybersource Senior Business Development Manager role is responsible for developing new business opportunities for Cybersource payment solutions in Korea and Mongolia and being the trusted adviser to a portfolio of clients with a focus on the use and adoption of a set of innovative Cybersource solutions in payments, fraud, security, and Visa value-added services (VAS).
- Responsible to develop new pipeline of Enterprise merchants and maintain existing merchants for global expansion with Cybersource platform
- Responsible to sell Cybersource services including gateway, token management solution, fraud management solution, 3DS and others to cross border transaction payment stakeholders (PG, acquirer, fintech and so on)
- Take the lead in implementing Korea domestic processing for Cybersource global merchants via Cybersource platform
- Upsell new Visa VAS to payment stakeholders by Cybersource platform
- Collaborate with various Visa Korea internal teams and AP regional teams for cross-functional projects
- Responsible to achieve set revenue target against Visa’s objectives
- Be the main point of contact on new business development opportunities, overseeing the projects end to end
This is a 2 years fixed-term contractor role in Visa Korea.

The Cybersource business unit has been identified as a strategic pillar to Visa’s group-wide strategy to create more innovative merchant solutions and has significant executive sponsorship to invest in its growth.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

What you will need:
We are looking for an individual with strong sales track-record and account management skills, along with deep payment and consulting expertise to provide analysis and strategic thinking to shape the services we deliver to clients. The role will also require the individual to lead sales engagements and develop actionable as well as scalable insights and solutions.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in B2B Sales and Account Management in the digital payment industry
• In-depth knowledge of Korea domestic and cross border CNP (Card Not Present) transactions from Authorization to Clearing/Settlement
• Profound experiences or projects in online merchant acquisition for CNP transactions
• Proven business relationship with payment stakeholders in Korea (merchants, PG/VAN, acquirer, fintech, regulators)
• Strong track record of implementing an annual business plan
• Goal-driven to achieve account, revenue and volume growth targets while ensuring our client adopts Visa's innovative solutions
• Executive Presence including excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior executives
• Business bilingual in Korean and English
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Business or Engineering
