Job Description
Visa has a great toolbox of leading technologies including CyberSource and Authorize.Net. Together, we are building leading edge full-service Payment Management solutions combining global payment processing, fraud management and payment security systems. As a Director of CyberSource , you will provide hands-on leadership by hiring and building a world-class team of DevOps engineers, defining, executing and delivering tools and frameworks to increase developer productivity and reduce time to market new products and promoting a culture of cross-functional collaboration and engineering excellence.
Essential Functions:
Partner closely with Acceptance Services leadership and counterparts in Test Engineering, PMO, Architecture, Release Management, O&I, etc.
Hire, retain and invest in the career development of a high-performing team of DevOps engineers
Lead your team of engineers and build a culture of engineering excellence quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, resilience, etc.
Deliver product with a customer-focused mindset, engaging with cross-geographical teams.
Provide technical leadership to Devops teams by participating in design and process reviews
Partner with Devops and MAP PD managers in developing a strategy and roadmap that align with business goals.
Partner with remote teams to ensure alignment across support and product development.
Manage the prioritization and delivery of strategic initiatives for enhancements on the platform.
Ensure processes for incident management, change management, and problem management are followed.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 6+ years of relevant experience leading teams or with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery, and release of software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong business acumen, ability to grasp big picture and cascade to team
• Driven and self-motivated, work creatively to solve challenging problems.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Track record of hiring and managing high-performing software engineers
• Expert in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle principles
• Strong experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Artifactory, Service Now, Sonar
• Experience with design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns.
• Experience in managing application development, software delivery lifecycle, and/or infrastructure development and administration
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 176,400.00 to 256,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
