Job Description

Visa USA Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to:

  • Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of software applications.
  • Evaluate and introduce technology tools and processes that enable Visa to develop products and solutions, to embrace business opportunities and/or improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement unified control center and monitoring tools to measure, monitor, and report on platform, data availability, utilization, capacity trend, and overall health metrics.
  • Formulate methods to enable consistent data loading and optimize data operations.
  • Monitor health of platforms, generate performance reports, and monitor and provide continuous improvements.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments.
  • Understand usage patterns and work load requirements of new projects.
  • Develop code and mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality.
  • Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, CO office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
  • C#, ASP.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, XAML.
  • HTML, ReactJS, Redux, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript. jQuery, SignalR.
  • Windows server, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MVC, MVVM, Angular, WCF, WebAPI.
  • GitHub.

Additional Information

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $152,945.00 USD to $179,900.00 USD per year USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
