What a Senior Consultant - Partner Enablement Manager does at Visa:

Senior Consultant - Partner Enablement Manager (PEM) are the main technical liaisons for Cybersource’s client base. We are currently looking for a Sr. Consultant PEM for the Cybersource Customer Support team to manage the relationships with our high value global reseller partners. This individual will be responsible for engaging our reseller partners on new products, requirements, and issue management, and the individual will have a vital role in ensuring that our partners’ integrations are functioning optimally. The candidate will also work with our Alliances organization in fostering the relationships with our valued partners, and will play a key primary role during business reviews, trainings, and presentations

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Primary technical point of contact for our high-value global reseller partners, addressing any technical challenges or payment questions that may arise
  • Oversee and coordinate implementations with reseller partner, and provide consultative integration guidance for new partners/merchants
  • Educate partners on how new CyberSource products and functionalities may contribute to and enhance their business models
  • Define engagement process and the operating model between reseller partner, merchants, and Cybersource teams
  • Own production issues end-to-end from escalation to resolution and client communication
  • Champion product enhancement requests with our cross-functional teams and be the voice of Product Readiness back to the partner
  • Lead product trainings and workshops, works with internal training teams to build out Best-In-Class training for partner support teams and the partner clients
  • Build and maintain deep product knowledge in CyberSource products and services
  • Partner with our Alliance team to build relationships with technical and business contacts with our resellers
  • Drive a partner-centric ethos within the Client Service team, Technical Account Management, Implementation Support and any other partner-focused resources such as Product Support. Engineers and Product Readiness
  • Travel may be required (up to 5% travel)

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • We are looking for an individual who brings breadth of experience, a curiosity about payments, is results-driven and client focused. As a candidate, you should have:
  • Experience in a Customer Support/Account Management role strongly preferred
  • Payment industry experience
  • Foundational knowledge of CyberSource
  • A track record of a strong customer focus
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cybersource Reseller Partner model required (can be learned)
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, programming languages (Java, C/C++, Perl, etc.), and markup languages (HTML, XML)
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities across merchant projects and production issues
  • Experience working with cross-functional/cross-department teams
  • Ability to articulate complex topics to both technical and business audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong organization skills and resolution management

What will also help:

  • Experience in Card-not-present/Card-present and risk mitigation methodology
  • Experience in project management
  • Subject Matter Expertise in multiple areas such as card payments, products and services, payment technologies, wallet services gained through years of experience supporting clients and new product initiatives within a payment-processing environment

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,100 to 173,650 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
