Job Description

This is a unique and exciting opportunity within Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA).  This role is part of our Benchmarking team, which is recognized as one of the best sources of payment industry performance, cost, and profitability benchmarks.  Typical opportunities within VCA’s Benchmarking group include:

  • Complete consulting engagements with senior level clients, including participating in interviews, reviewing confidential client data and practices, and summarizing key findings

  • Complete detailed analysis on client data, identifying interesting trends and anomalies

  • Identify opportunities for clients to increase revenue and improve operational efficiencies

  • Create and develop presentations that communicate industry trends and findings to client senior leadership

  • Help develop and implement new scaled benchmarking products

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Professionals with prior (1-2 years) financial planning and analysis and or strategic consulting experience
  •  Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into key strategic insights
  • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts both internal to Visa and with the client
  • Proven time management skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt
  • A background in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus
  • An affinity for payments technology and its future
     

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,600 to 160,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
