Job Description

The Director of Global Sales Transformation supports the execution, delivery, communications, and change management of Visa’s sales transformation (also known as Sales 2.0) and reports directly to Vice President of Global Sales Excellence.  Our mandate is to develop, design, and execute, in partnership with regions and business units, key sales transformation efforts, be the super connector for the markets, regions, global groups, and bring a consistent voice and 'One Visa'.

As we move from design to execution across regions and BUs, it is critical that we have dedicated expertise and resource in change management and project management across all Sales 2.0 pillars and initiatives. This will include segmentation and coverage work, right sizing sales and service teams, updating sales operating model, defining performance metrics for each role, etc. We have seen great uptake on Sales 2.0 and need to coordinate and enable execution efforts.

This is a global team. You will work hand in hand with many different functions, regions, and markets.  It is a great opportunity to gain exposure to our strategy and business. We are looking for a seasoned communications and change management leader, who can easily navigate regional, business unit, and cross functional teams, thrives on process optimization and ensuring a best-in-class experience for our sellers. 

Essential Functions:

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years
of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at
least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+
years of experience

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,800.00 to 237,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
