Team Summary
A unique opportunity exists to join Visa and the IPVMC market cluster (Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia), one of Asia Pacific's, and the world's, fastest growing commerce and digital payments ecosystems. What a Business Planning & Operations Manager does at Visa:
The successful candidate will leverage data insights and analysis to drive the development of business strategy as well as ensure the successful operations of the cluster. Using data tools and platforms, the individual will be instrumental in optimizing business performance and efficiency to enable business growth. The role will report to the Head of Business Planning & Operations for IPVMC and GC (Global Clients) and collaborate extensively with the IPVMC Leadership Team, market teams, Sales Excellence and AP BPO teams.
The successful candidate will:
- Co-ordinate collection of relevant data with functional units, business development teams and management. Enhance existing and build new data tools that draw on a host of internal and external data sources to drive deep and actionable insights.
- Translate data insights into cluster business strategy and support market teams in translating that into concrete and actionable market deliverables.
- Participate in creation of robust account, country & functional plans; track/report progress against targets as part of regular business reviews.
- Actively support execution by systematically driving the cluster's strategic priorities, OKRs, key account reviews and Account Executive (AE) scorecards.
- Assume responsibility for sales pipelines in Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring optimal pipeline management and tracking to target.
- Assist with regular cluster business reviews by collaborating closely with all functions and markets to provide a holistic assessment of the business. Lead the continuous enhancement of existing processes and innovate new approaches to support the growth of the cluster.

The successful candidate is critical in ensuring the cluster is equipped with the right data, tools and resources to optimize and mitigate both short and long-term opportunities and challenges. Playing a large part in the efforts to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations for business leadership design, the role is key in achieving strong cluster and business performance.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience, preferably with payments background.
- Strong appetite for data analysis leveraging multiple data sources and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong excel skills and appetite for data visualization / framework development.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across a highly dynamic and diverse cross-functional and cross-market environment.
- A hunger for innovation and strong appetite for continuous performance improvement.
- Solid project management skills and execution ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
- Ability to be proactive, learn quickly and deal with complexity.
- Aptitude to source relevant information and facilitate timely decisions with a tolerance for ambiguity.
- Good command of MS Tools. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to communicate effectively across regional and functional lines.
- Ability to prioritize and achieve goals with minimal management oversight.
