Team Summary

The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous, double-digit growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as we expand to bring payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe.  Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments.  We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, Fintech and other ecosystem players to deliver these services.  We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world.  Our focus within Business Solutions is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution.

What a Manager, Products and Solutions does at Visa:

Visa is looking for a talented individual that bring understanding of UI/UX design, Solution Architecture to capture the voice of the customer into the design and guide the development for new payment flows. You will have direct responsibility on Program Management for both Globally and Regionally built products and support the roll out of this from pilot to general availability.

As a natural collaborator, you will develop a network of key cross functional stakeholders across the region including various product teams, sales, client support and work directly with clients and implementation partners to expand the usage of Visa’s Commercial Capabilities. This includes and not limited to the following: assess customer business process needs and identify applicable functional capabilities required, helping them add various capabilities to achieve success with Market Teams in the region. You are meticulous with documentation and have a good understanding of Product Development Lifecycle and puts into practice best practices.

This role requires you to:

  • Develop and maintain multiple program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of program objectives independently.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  • Communicate program status, progress, and risks to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement of program management processes and practices.
  • Develop and own product expertise over time to proactively advocate, as a subject matter expert to clients, partners and internal stakeholders which will require a deep understanding of product functionality, and roadmap, regulatory and compliance issues, and the technology and operational environment of target customers, including the major operational risk issues.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience involving product management, presales consulting and/or track record for delivering complex programs on time and within budget
  • Ability to develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills used for stakeholders management
  • Drive continuous improvement of program management processes and practices.
  • Has the experience to conduct post project assessment and create recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful product elements & continuous refining of tech solutions
  • Naturally excellent at planning and tracking of all initiatives

What will also help:

  • Experience in client engagement as a Business Process Analyst or roles of similar nature
  • 10+ years in a program management role in software or financial services sector.
  • Some experience with either working for or with card networks; understand the four party model
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills with familiarity with tools such as Mural and Figma
  • Familiarity UX design and considerations.
  • Excellent analytical and visualization skills to transform ambiguous activities into methodical process flows

Projects you will be a part of:

Visa’s product and capabilities team is accelerating the regional growth and innovation of B2B payments by enabling new payment flows. We own all of Visa’s commercial API’s and data capabilities in the region and this allows us to deliver use-case specific projects which are first-of-a-kind.
