Job Description

Visa Direct enables fast, secure, always available real-time money movement using Visa’s global payment rails. From moving funds between accounts, receiving funds from businesses or sending funds to friends and family. Visa Direct offers worldwide reach to billions of endpoints. Visa+, a new capability of Visa Direct, allows users to transfer funds between participating apps and to receive funds directly into those apps. Visa+ represents a significant evolution in our money movement journey. As part of the U.S. Product Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Manager Visa+ will report to the Senior Director of U.S. Product Marketing. The incumbent will be responsible for the go to market strategy to support the launch and accelerate the growth of Visa+, both consumer adoption and wallet/business adoption. We are looking for a talented and well-rounded marketer to join our team, the ideal candidate:

  • Has a strong strategic mindset, is analytically savvy, leverages data to inform decisions and is relentless in measuring results.
  • Deeply understands the changing environment of B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Is an outstanding collaborator across functional teams.
  •  Is able to develop and gain support from Visa’s clients for hard working co-marketing programs that grow Visa+ adoption and usage.
  • Has executive presence, outstanding communication skills, and is highly persuasive.
  • Has passion for working on strategy and for executing with great attention to detail.
  • Has a track record of successfully working with agencies in the development of marketing programs and media plans, including working with content developers (e.g., influencers).

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor for Visa+ Product, Visa+ Sales and Visa+ clients.
  • Develop and refine the marketing strategy to win in the segment leveraging user insights, understanding of the market, and analysis.
  •  Lead the execution and implementation of integrated consumer marketing campaigns leveraging Visa’s paid and earned channels as well as the power of Visa+ clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners and agencies (external and internal).
  • Develop measurement framework, analysis, and reporting to evaluate performance of efforts and its impact on business results.
  • Budget management and financial discipline proven track record of executing on-time and on-budget.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience
with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
• Strong marketing background with 7+ years of experience delivering measurable business results.
• Strong strategic thinker focused on end-results who approaches challenges with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency.
• Experience developing and executing B2C and B2B2C marketing campaigns leveraging audience insights.
• Experience developing strong working relationships with cross-functional partners.
• Proven track record of success in client-facing roles, ability to influence others.
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
• Adaptability, flexibility, and professional maturity.
• Experience and comfort using data to optimize marketing campaigns.
• Solid understanding and successful implementation of digital marketing practices (web, mobile, social, influencers).
• Experience managing budgets.
• Project management skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,700.00 to 192,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
