Visa is looking for a Cybersecurity candidate to join its Cybersecurity Assurance team as an Associate, which provides guidance, coordination, and delivery of activities supporting control compliance across the organization. The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with development and technical staff, as well as with other stakeholders, to oversee and manage the compliance to key controls, reporting on remediation activities, and coordinate continuous risk remediation efforts.  The role requires the candidate to have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.

Some job duties and projects could include:

  • Execute Global Cybersecurity Assurance, supporting continuous controls reporting, monitoring, and management.

  • Coordinate and support the remediation of security issues and risks and ensure timely reporting and escalation to Cybersecurity and executive leadership.

  • Work with technology and business partners to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Cybersecurity Assurance program and provide feedback and recommendations on security best practices and enhancements.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years relevant work experience with either Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field, graduating February 2023 - August 2024


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, risk management, compliance, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO, PCI, etc.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills on all platforms and tools supported.
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment. 
  • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on 
  • Strong ability to collaborate 
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented 
  • Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity

Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $88,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
