Job Description
Visa is looking for an accomplished Senior Product Manager with a passion for innovating and shaping the next generation of payment products to join the global Visa Token Services (VTS) team. This team is focused on bringing to market new and exciting Visa services with global reach, novel platform features, and strategic importance to Visa Token Service.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be part of the VTS Core Platform team collaborating and leading VTS product initiatives. The role is global in scope and requires an elevated level of interaction and collaboration with business and technical resources across the company, including Technology, Product, Client Services, Risk, Legal, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have more than five years of product management, requirements gathering and use case design experience, ability to think tactically and strategically, work independently with limited supervision in a fast-pace and fluctuating environment. To be successful, the individual must keep an elevated level of coordination and collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholder teams globally. The ideal person for this role should have a passion for innovation in payments, technology, and product management, be meticulous, and be able to drive results within a complex environment. Individual is expected to have a key role in setting the strategy, defining KPIs, and influencing the VTS roadmap.
Essential Functions
Create / support new use cases, concepts, definition, and product design requirements for the Visa Token Service platform.
Supply Product technology support to local and regional teams to support this complex and evolving platform and working across sub-functions as needed.
Establish key performance metrics and measurements for the predictable delivery of new features product and ensure continuous improvement.
Managing, grooming, planning and execution of a steady product backlog in a fast-paced agile environment.
Apply creative thinking to decide technical solutions that further business goals.
High energy level, performance oriented and enthusiastic about customers, payment industry, and emerging technologies.
Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with a great attitude working on cross-functional teams where there may not be a direct reporting line.
Influence directly the prioritization of product feature backlog to drive execution of product vision, roadmap to ensure product goals and market success.
Able to create strong and positive relationships across teams and functions, including areas of not direct engagement, in order effectively gather information, resolve issues, supply feedback, and to contribute to the overall product direction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Participate in client facing discussions, supply feedback, learn, evaluate and apply in defining product features.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Experience with payment processing products and solutions, building product roadmaps, and features.
- Prior experience working within an agile product development environment.

Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 125,500.00 to 163,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
