Job Description
Commercial Money Movement Solutions (CMS) division’s charter is to capture new sources of money movement through card and non-card flows, including Visa Business Solutions, Government Solutions, Visa Direct and Visa B2B Connect, which together present an enormous growth opportunity. Our team brings payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients, Multi Nationals and Governments.
Visa B2B Connect is part of the CMS vertical of Visa’s Technology organization. We are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a new payments network designed to handle large business-to-business payments across international borders and currencies, more quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively than current networks.
The Treasury and Reconciliation team ensures Visa B2B Connect payments are processed accurately and efficiently and manages all transaction data, data warehousing and reporting across the payments network and within Visa. The Visa B2B Connect network is engineered and operating at a level that exceeds all the availability and reliability targets while considering reliability, availability, latency, performance, monitoring & efficiency as core principles. This role will inspire and lead a team on various initiatives within Visa B2B Connect Treasury and Reconciliation, including building new data-focused solutions as well as advancing the underlying technical architectures and frameworks.
Essential Functions:
- Leading and hands-on development to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget with good code quality.
- Serve as development point of contact for complex technical software development issues, problem analysis and resolution. Provide business and technical analysis, design, coding, unit testing, implementation and documentation of solutions for new development, system enhancements, and production support.
- Work with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to successfully implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology.
- Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate, to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards.
- Responsible for the architecture, design, development, implementation of data intensive software applications, which includes working with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations.
- Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field AND minimum six (6) years of experience in a directly related field OR
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field AND minimum eight (8) years of experience in a directly related field OR
- Minimum eleven (11) years of directly related experience.
Preferred Qualifications

- 9 or more years of relevant work experience in a computer-related occupation with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or closely related field
- Current hands on development experience with Python and Java
- Current development in Data Engineering/Data Pipelines/Data Warehousing/Event Based Architectures
- Preferred experience as a scrum master
- Management experience within an Agile environment
- Managing a team of 5-10 engineers
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,800.00 to 187,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
