Job Description

The People Analytics team is growing quickly as we scale insights to all roles across the company. Join a highly-skilled team to collaborate with and develop unique solutions. This role will have the opportunity to lead a customer-facing arm of the People Planning & Insights team in support of a portion of Visa’s Functions and Regions. The leader will be responsible in driving priorities across our analytics products, workforce planning processes, and ad hoc analyses in support of their customer group.

The leader will be responsible for organizing the team to partner across COEs to ensure we scale data-based decision making aligned to the Enterprise strategies. It’s a great opportunity to be on the cutting edge of the biggest problems at Visa and helping design new solutions or collaborating will all the different product experts on the team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an internal consultant to Functions and Regions, ensuring their needs are expressed throughout all of our self-service tools and resources, while also providing consulting support as needed
  • Teach and educate the team on consulting skills, building out the expertise in storytelling and facilitating strategic workforce planning conversations
  • Own monthly and quarterly reporting processes, ensuring the insights provided are connection to action planning within their client organizations
  • Identify requirements for new dashboards, data science models, and predictive planning solutions and working with the right product owners on the team to influence their roadmaps to support customer needs
  • Collect feedback from customers and coach team members to ensure we are providing the best customer experience
  • Develop mechanisms across the team to ensure we can prioritize across the customers and balancing the competing needs from across the organization.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Experience consulting in the People Analytics space, providing insights and stories to customer groups across COEs and Business Units
  • Experience providing requirements to developers and product owners, ensuring customers’ needs are considered
  • Experience in prioritizing across customers and facilitating discussions around roadmap planning
  • Prior consulting or corporate experience focused on areas outside of the People Analytics space (ie. Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.)
  • Previous leadership experience, coaching team members in their ability to consult
  • Experience working in an agile environment, breaking down work into various tasks, identifying dependencies, and managing capacity through a sprint planning process
  • Experience in data visualization tools and expert Powerpoint/Excel skills
  • Experience leveraging tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, Tableau, Qualtrics, and R/Python

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,700.00 to 190,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
