Job Description

Visa Direct is an exciting, new payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts in the U.S. and around the world using push payment technology, i.e. Original Credit Transaction (OCT), and traditional ACH/RTP payment rails to deposit into checking accounts and wallets leveraging the VPL network.   Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) transfer, cross border remittances, funds disbursement (business to consumer or small business payments) including priority use cases: SMB payables, marketplace seller payouts, content creator payouts freelancer payouts, and more.

The North America Visa Direct Cross-Border (XB) team plays a critical role in growing the Visa Direct business through expansion of use cases and deployment of scalable product solutions.  The team is responsible for go to market strategy of Visa Direct across existing and new use-cases and industry verticals. The cross-border business is a key growth driver for Visa Direct and the XB team is focused on driving cross-border sales, origination programs and transactions – we are at the tip of the iceberg and need to push hard to capture the full market opportunity in front of us. 

Visa Direct is seeking a Cross-border GTM Analyst to join the North America Visa Direct Cross-Border (XB) team. This team plays a critical role in growing the Visa Direct business through the expansion of use cases and deployment of scalable product solutions. The Cross-border GTM Analyst will be responsible for executing the go-to-market strategy for priority use cases across various client segments. 

Responsibilities

Use Case GTM execution

  • Execute on the GTM and partnership strategies to drive growth of cross-border use cases.
  • Tailor and package the Visa Direct cross-border use case solution to deliver a value proposition to key client segments.
  • Design and drive cross-functional projects aligned with the growth strategy.

Sales and Solution Enablement

  • Define solutioning paths for scalable client implementation.
  • Support client engagements from a GTM and sales strategy consulting perspective

Client Optimization

  • Develop and execute optimization strategies informed by data analysis to grow existing programs.
  • Work with Marketing, Innovation, and Communications teams to produce use case playbooks to increase awareness, adoption, and preference for Visa Direct across target segments.

Product Commercialization and Ecosystem

  • Collect voice of the customer requirements that inform pricing, policy, platform, and ecosystem initiatives to support cross-border growth.
  • Support commercialization of new product capabilities in receiver directed payouts, FX and payouts to wallets
  • Develop deep expertise in the Visa Direct Technology Stack, Visa’s Digital Assets and Capabilities, and our Processing and Acquiring partner ecosystem.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

•2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to explain complex business and
technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on clients
• Good understanding of money movement space, key players (card based and non-card based),
competition and market trends
• Strong project management and organization with the ability to independently lead and manage
complex projects with multiple work streams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Fast learner and critical thinker, ability to interpret rules and policies and clearly articulate
applicability to programs
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to
innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
• Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross
functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,700.00 to 145,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
