Managed Services Technical Delivery Specialist – Visa Consulting & Analytics

What a Technical Delivery Specialist does at Visa:

As the Technical Delivery Specialist, you will lead and oversee a delivery technical solution implementations for our clients. You and your team will work with our key issuing partner’s environment helping them to deliver digital capabilities which enable best in class customer experiences for their end users. You will operate in a consulting environment focused on large programs, project management and implementations delivered through a consulting skillset.

You will:

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end Client engagements
  • Build strong relationships with clients to deeply understand their business and challenges
  • Identify and solve both client and internal challenges to help us execute efficiently and effectively
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and liase with cross functional teams to identify delivery support required and create recommendations on resource model to achieve desired outcomes
  • Manage stakeholders in complex environments and at senior levels – across the client and Visa
  • Bring subject matter expertise across diverse range of payments topics
  • Playback results and success of programme to clients, leading to renewed contracts and programme extensions
  • Document processes, key learnings and best practices in artefacts that can be reused across the team
  • Be a strong people leader ensuring you get the best from your team

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 years experience leading and/or overseeing implementation project deliveries
  • At least 3-5 years experience in management consulting firms, ideally with focus on large scale implementations / change management / processes optimization
  • Deep understanding and empathy of customer needs and commercial drivers
  • Technical competence to be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders -architects, UX practitioners and the development team essential
  • Working in Agile environments is valuable, specifically the Scrum framework
  • Able to keep pace with emerging technologies and genuine desire to be across new product designs and user experience trends
  • Experience of presenting in person and remotely to a range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation is desirable
  • Consumer banking, finance and/or payments experience desirable
  • Experience with Financial Institution/Banking digital product development

  • Strong team orientation with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to progress multiple priorities concurrently
  • Experience in and passion for payments
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in working on business/value cases that prove ROI
  • Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management
