Job Description
North America Product Innovation is looking to hire a Product Manager with entrepreneurial mindset and a successful track record of building emerging payments products at scale. In this role, you will be responsible to work in partnership with digital, fintech and regional product teams to delivery innovative payment solutions that will drive value for Visa and its customers.
To drive this value-driven innovation culture, we are looking for digital and technology savvy product development leader who are passionate about innovating and delivering truly differentiated payments experiences for specific marketplaces. The role will engage across all of the emerging product Solutions Teams of the hub, and the Geography Teams in the markets, as well as with other key functions across the organization: Business Development, Finance, Global Client Management, etc. Thus the role requires a very high degree of cross functional collaboration and engagement.
This role will be based in San Francisco, with significant opportunity to drive and build products at scale across Visa Inc.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives and large-scale change management.
- Experience designing/implementing product and business Go-to-Market strategies.
- Experience in digital advertisement strategy (i.e., agency or industry) and a passion for connecting formats, audiences, and channels through data.
- Knowledge of digital payments/wallets is a plus (e.g., crypto wallet BNPL, Checkout, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Working with cross functional product leads, to develop a product strategy, use-cases that will drive revenue and growth for the company.
- Builds and maintains strong and timely MIS/dashboards to the Product team to contribute to the analysis of performance on key metrics to identify areas of focus/opportunity/growth and profitability
- Contributes to robust business cases and optimized product investments through review, analysis and challenge to ensure business assumptions are valid
- Applies analytics to business problems, interpreting and distributing results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 172,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
