Job Description
The Community Accounts Sales Analytics team is responsible for shaping and executing the data strategy to accelerate issuer sales enablement by leveraging assets such as VisaNet data and our CRM platform along with product knowledge and sales enablement best practices. The individual will be responsible for leading data initiatives including reporting, analysis, and data management for sales executives and leadership.
We are looking for a technical individual contributor who is comfortable engaging with business owners, data enthusiasts, and technology teams. Successful candidates have experience bridging the gap between technical analytics and business insights consumers. This role will require hands-on data analysis with a focus on developing advanced capabilities (including data science techniques) and sustained operational excellence. Ideal candidates are comfortable working under limited supervision.
Essential Functions
As a Manager, you will support the data strategy by performing data analyses, create business intelligence reports, execute CRM support tasks, and assist with general data related projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for departmental data assets and reporting capabilities including educating and assisting sales executives. This includes gaining advanced knowledge of Visa’s MS Dynamics implementation and providing limited operational support.
- Serve as a ‘data concierge’ providing high touch support to sales executives while championing increased departmental data literacy.
- Perform data analysis in Microsoft Excel and Tableau on both a recurring and ad-hoc basis. Projects examples include fiscal year planning, sales campaign performance monitoring, revenue analysis, CRM pipeline monitoring, product utilization, US market intelligence, industry conference analysis, and customer insights.
- Provide limited data engineering support as needed.
- Present complex concepts and results of analyses in a clear and effective manner to both small and large audiences with varying degrees of foundational data sophistication.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and PowerPoint.
- Intermediate experience with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy).
- Basic experience writing SQL for data analysis.
- Basic experience developing and maintaining ETL processes.
- Demonstrated experience combining disparate data sets and deriving actionable insights.
- Should have strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to quickly propose feasible solutions.
- Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
- Experience with machine learning, python, and Visa’s Machine Learning Platform is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power Apps, and Power Automate is preferred.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,000.00 to 154,700.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
