Job Description

This unique opportunity calls for a strategic, analytical, and collaborative Finance professional to support financial planning, analysis, & reporting for Global Technology organization. This includes performing financial analysis and modeling for entire Technology organization, creating reports and presentations of key financial results and recommendations for use by Visa Leadership, and being a key member for the budgeting & forecasting processes, month end close & financial reporting. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to Visa’s Global Technology Organization
  • Build complex financials models and reports, while ensuring data integrity and clearly explaining the methodology and key assumptions to various stakeholders
  • Revamp the reporting by building scalable financial models using modelling best-practices
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) and serve as a key point of contact for finance guidance
  • Assist all finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, month end close, financial reporting, and business case development
  • Develop relevant financial metrics to provide key analytics to Business Partners
  • Be proactive, resourceful, and creative in fully utilizing available resources and data to achieve insightful analysis
  • Communicate business implications observed from analysis and contribute ideas and solutions to business challenges/problems
  • Collaborate with all levels of management in a matrixed organizational structure
  • Acquires and maintains an understanding of the strategies, priorities and issues of the divisions supported.
  • Provide support for areas supported consolidation activities and executive management reporting deliverables
  • Create standardized and ad hoc reports/decks to provide visibility to actual and planned Technology investments in our strategic priorities

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, accounting, mathematics, economics, statistics or related quantitative field or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills required; ability to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Tableau and other analytical data tools highly beneficial
  • Strong curiosity to connect the dots and tell the story through the financials
  • MBA is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are extremely critical
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce time sensitive deliverables

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,100.00 to 147,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
