Job Description
We are seeking a proactive individual who can drive strategic and financial thought leadership as part of the Global Value-In-Kind (VIK) Finance Team at Visa. Known as the ‘Rocket Fuel’ for Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) and Commercial Money Movement Solutions (CMS) businesses, VIK has quickly become a core area for growth. This person will play a critical role in defining how the VIK program’s success is measured, creating and delivering financial analysis and insights to senior leaders, while partnering with multi-functional and regional teams to level up our client VIK business intelligence capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- Support Global VIK Revenue forecasting, reporting, and analytics
- Develop and refine financial models that track global VIK creation and utilization and measure actuals against targets
- Lead consolidation of monthly actuals, ongoing forecasts, budgets, and long-term growth plans
- Analyze results: identify and interpret variances, trends, and insights, findings to management
- Develop timelines and templates, presenting guidance on deliverables, and building senior executive presentations that bring overall themes and insights together
- Combine observed patterns and trends to builds accurate forecast, triangulate and exercise judgement
- Support or lead variety of ad hoc requests and projects, including VIK scorecard metric target proposals
- Learn and understand Visa’s financial reporting systems: run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives.
- Enhance VIK business intelligence tools
- Provide guidance on roadmap recommendations to Global Sales & Commercial Operations team on VIK Funding Dashboards
- Monitor data integrity related to VIK balance and drawdown information fed from Visa’s financial databases into business intelligence tools
- Collaborate and coordinate with a broad base of partners (i.e., Corporate Finance, FP&A, Client Incentive Operations, Controllership, etc.) at the global and regional levels
- Build proficiency in concepts to serve as a subject matter authority on VIK within FP&A, guide peers and provide ownership and/or support of strategic initiatives
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Outstanding analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze financial results
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and in building presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience crafting dashboards using SQL query and business intelligence tools (MS Power BI Desktop or Tableau Desktop)
- Familiarity with backend data integration and collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Revenue Management and Billing, Clarity, Hyperion, GARP or other Visa enterprise applications
- An understanding of client incentives, the payments industry and financial services, and of wider economic and competitive landscape
- Experience with global, enterprise financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, etc.)
- Track record in synthesizing complex information to produce impactful management and support informed decision making (risk vs reward, cost vs benefit tradeoffs)
- Intuition for business and understanding of accounting principles
- Demonstrates well-developed strategic, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Is team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, flexible, with excellent presentation skills, oral and writing capabilities
- Operates with autonomy and can make informed, well-reasoned decisions
- Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making
- Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced, ever evolving, and customer service-oriented
- Flexibility to create or attend meetings outside of business working hours from time to time due to global nature of the role
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,100.00 to 147,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
