Job Description
This Director, Program Management, Visa USA Financial Institution Sales, is responsible for supporting the lead Account Executives for several major clients within the Super Regional Segment for North America. Areas of focus include account planning, establishing disciplined operating models for key partnerships, and providing sales support for advancing Visa’s Value Added Services with our partners.
The Program Manager would be responsible for excellence in delivering the program of work associated with at least four of Visa’s Super Regional clients. The role requires strong organizational skills, project management experience, financial and analytical acumen, story lining, Power Point and Excel proficiency, strong communication skills, and executive presence. The role will report to the Vice President of Super Regional Accounts, NA, and will work collaboratively with the dedicated account teams and respective teams at the clients.
Accountabilities
- Manage the governance and any applicable contracts connected to the clients. This may include improving upon the design and implementation of the governance framework and operating model.
- Providing support in developing comprehensive account plans.
- Project Manage from end to end key partnership initiatives working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop processes and program templates for responsibilities such as contract funding, project management, issue resolution, risk management and stakeholder management.
- Manage the documentation and recording of all program activities, and management of reporting using MS Teams and Dynamics
- Use reporting tools to monitor portfolio activities and regularly brief business leadership on the performance and status of initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal partners to reconcile contract funding.
- Develop and manage processes for financial budgets and funding of projects and other partner commitments.
- Participate in internal and external meetings to present status of contract funding and account plans.
- Facilitate workshops, client meetings and document project requirements.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree, e.g. Masters, MBA,JD,MD. or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8 to 10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree, e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD or 6 plus years of work experience with a PhD.
• Related sales and management experience in the payments industry or similar experience in consulting preferred
• Demonstrated track record of planning, managing, and closing complex sales efforts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with all levels including executive management
• Proven project management skills
• Ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
• Proven ability negotiating business agreements
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics, and MS Teams
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 139,800.00 to 181,800.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
